A major , exclusive UK, exhibition of the work of Roger Dean will go on display at Trading Boundaries in November 2012.
The internationally recognised artist and designer, whose evocative and visionary images, with associated graphics, logos, and lettering, created a new genre of work, is best known for his work on album covers for musicians, including progressive rock band ‘Yes’.
Featuring new and old work, the exhibition of hand touched prints will run from Sunday 4th November to Sunday 18th November 2012. With its distinctive and iconic style, Dean’s work usually features exotic fantasy landscapes and has sold in excess of sixty million copies world-wide. All artwork displayed will be for sale.
The exhibition will be supported on Saturday 3rd November with a live talk with Roger Dean plus special guest Rick Wakeman. There will also be live performances from ASIA's John Wetton, Steve Hackett of Genesis and FOCUS (Friday 16th). During the Focus event the original painting for their new album artwork from FOCUS 10 will be on display in the venue, created and designed by Roger.
